Danielle and Blaine had a weekday wedding at Sacred Heart Church in Highgate. As you can see, this is a great church for wedding photos, as we were able to sneak back in after the ceremony for a few photos with just the bride and groom.

We then went into Leederville for some modern wedding photos, using Green and Co as well as one of the Grafitti walls in a side alley for something a little different. Then it was off to UWA for a few more photos before enjoying the sunset on the riverbank at Matilda Bay. It was a beautiful evening, perfect for the guests enjoying their pre dinner drinks outdoors on the lawn at Matilda Bay Restaurant.

Kendall and Clinton's Easter wedding was held in the grounds at Belvoir in the Swan Valley. 

After their ceremony we headed off with the bridal party for some vineyard photos, using Oakover for most shots (huge thank you for Oakover for letting us use yoru vineyard!). The bridal party travelled in two stunning vintage cars that belonged to family friends, and suited the location well!

We love Autumn weddings, the lighting is just so nice! As you can see from the photos in the vineyard and field, it was a perfect afternoon as the sun started to set and cast a golden glow over the Swan Valley.

After their engagement portrait session a couple of months ago, here is the wedding day!

Steven and Raquel were married in the Mercedes College Chapel in the city, which is a stunning place. We then went into Leederville for some photos at Green and Co (thank you for letting us use your great venue!) and finally made our way over to Kings Park for a few last photos before the wedding reception at Frasers. The reception was in the State Reception Centre, and the cherry blossom centrepieces looked amazing, twinkling with the downlights.

 Brooke and Peter were married at Joondalup Resort – a great venue for weddings as everything is in the one place! After the ceremony we went on the golf buggies around the course with the bridal party, being joined by the occasional kangaroo.

At the reception it was great to see Adrian from The DJ again.

 Jason and Miranda are another couple who were referred to Compose Photography from previous clients Lisa and Shane. We previewed the images from their pre wedding portrait session just before the wedding, and here is some highlights from the big day!

They were married at Christ the King in Beaconsfield, which is such a lovely church with amazing views out over Fremantle and the ocean. We then travelled to UWA for some photos with their bridal party before making our way to Burswood for their wedding reception at the Astral Ballroom.

It was great to catch up with some of our favourite suppliers – John from 21st Century Films and also Adrian from The DJ.

Mary and Kris were married at St Jerome's in Munster on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in March. They were referred from previous clients Lisa and Shane, who also knew Miranda and Jason that were getting married on the same day!

After the ceremony we went with their families to Manning Park in Spearwood, where we used the old Azelia Homestead as a background for their photos. We then travelled to UWA for some more photos with the bridal party, and luckily our mechanic groom could help get the limo working again to get to their reception at the Novotel!

It was also great to work with John from 21st Century…we were spoilt with both Johns on this day at the two weddings we were photographing! Thank you to A Old Limo and Roadshow DJs for being wonderful, as usual, to work with on the day.

And a big thank you to Mary and Kris and your families for such a lovely day!  

Joanne and Kirk's weekday wedding was held at the beautiful Sandalford Winery in the Swan Valley.

Their reception looked stunning, with cherry blossom style branches and tea lights giving it a warm and inviting feel.

We also got to work with some of our favourite suppliers, Natalie from Carte Blanche Wedding Design and Phil from Roadshow DJs.

Sarah and Jeremy were married at St Hilda's Chapel in Mosman Park on the March long weekend. We then went in a couple of Kombis – one belonging to the couple and one from Kuste Kombis - with the bridal party for some photos in Mosman Park.

After some last shots down at the river, we then went to their wedding reception at The Quarry Amphitheatre in Mt Claremont. This was the perfect venue for a cocktail style wedding reception, and it was also perfect weather for the open air venue.

 Alex and Travis were married in late February on waters edge at Port Beach in Fremantle. The colour of the water was amazing, and the yellow bridesmaid dresses and flowers were a perfect choice to contrast the aqua blue ocean.

After the ceremony we headed in Fremantle with the bridal party, using a mixture of modern and traditional architecture that is available down near the Round House.

Their wedding reception was held at Salt on the Beach, which then meant we were in the perfect location for some beach photos at sunset!

Rebecca and Rocky were married in late February at St Mary's Cathedral in Perth. It is such a stunning venue, every time we photograph a wedding there we love it! Their little pageboys and flowergirls were so cute, there was some secret joke that had them all giggling as they walked down the aisle.

After the ceremony and some family photos at the Cathedral, we then went to UWA for some photos, transport with the fabulous Damien from Lavish Limos.

We also had a quick stop at the blue boatshed in Crawley, there were perfect clouds in the sky that day thank you Mother Nature! We then got to Burswood for the reception held in the Astral Ballroom.

We've photographed so many receptions in the Astral Ballrooms, and each time the room looks so different with the theme that each couple has used, the lighting effects possible are amazing. The blue lighting used for Rebecca and Rocky's reception looked fantastic, especially during their bridal waltz.

It was great to see some familiar faces from previous weddings that we have photographed, including Rebecca's sister Georgie.
